Understanding Garmin Strap Types
Garmin watches usually use one of two main systems: QuickFit or Quick Release. Each system comes in three different sizes (18mm, 20mm, or 22mm). For instance, the Fenix range often uses the clip-on QuickFit system. Conversely, the Venu and Vivoactive lines typically use a traditional pin-based Quick Release. Because we want to save you time, we have already mapped these sizes to the models listed above.
The Fix Screens Quality Advantage
Buying Garmin bands online can be risky. Many cheap straps use weak springs or plastic clips that can fail during a run or a swim. However, we eliminate that risk. As a specialist UK repair service, we only sell the high-grade straps that our technicians trust. We have already tested the market to find the most durable and skin-friendly materials. Therefore, you can focus on your training while we handle the quality control.
Is it difficult to change a Garmin strap?
Replacing your strap is very straightforward. First, turn your watch over to see the underside of the band. If you have a QuickFit band, simply pull back the plastic lug to release it. If you have a Quick Release band, slide the small metal pin to free the strap. Both systems allow you to swap your look in seconds. Furthermore, you won't need any special tools for most modern models.
