The first step to this repair is to unscrew the 4 screws on the back.

When you've removed the 4 screws you can now begin to remove the back part of the housing. To do this you may need a thin pry tool. I've seen other people use a heat gun for this step but as you can see from the video, it wasn't necessary for me however I did use a super thin pry tool as well as a thicker stronger one.

When you've managed to pry between the two parts of the housing, you can pull away the back part of the housing gently and remove the ribbon which is attaching this to the internal board.

In addition to this ribbon, there is also a ribbon from the screen to the board. You can now remove this ribbon before then removing the board from within the front part of the housing.

Now you're ready to start the process in reverse. Start by inserting the board into your new front housing – the front housing and the screen come together as one part.

Now connect the screen ribbon.

And now connect the ribbon from the back part of the housing.
8.
You're now ready to seal the device by closing the front and the back part of the housing together and screwing back in the 4 screws.

Thats the repair complete, this one is really simple – you just need to source a good quality screen and the correct screwdriver.
